Burping lo after nursing in Moby

Perhaps this is a really dumb question, but if you're nursing while baby is in the Moby, do you pop em out afterwards to burp them?

  • I never did. She was semi-upright anyway and I just bounced around. I found my LO only needed to burp in traditional bottle feeding positions. Side lying nursing or anything different needed little to no burp.

  • Breastfed babies with no latch problems generally don't need to be burped anyway. Baby's latch provides an excellent seal and they take in virtually no air. The recommendation to burp babies comes from bottle feeding, in which babies take in a lot of air. They now just teach burping babies to all new moms because so many bottle feed, but it's not really necessary. :D

  • That's awesome, lo hasn't arrived yet so I wasn't sure but thank you both!
