Alternatives to Preggie Pops?

Alternatives to Preggie Pops?

Does anyone have any good recommendations for an alternative to suck on? I can't seem to find these locally, and I am looking for something safe that tastes good to ease the nausea a little.

Ideas?

Re: Alternatives to Preggie Pops?

  • A lot of girls swear by sour gummy bears/worms.  Also, lemon drops or peppermints should help.

  • You can order he Peggie pops on amazon and have them in two days with prime shipping.
  • lemon drops, sipping lemonade, any of the sour candies are really helping me. I would have never thought that I would want a sour jelly bean a 7 am but it helps so much.

I've seen others write jolly ranchers. this might be a good option too because you can make one last for a really long time instead of popping 20 jelly beans in 5 minutes.

I like LifeSavers...buy the big bag with the individually wrapped ones. When I was pregnant with my DD I kept tons in my pockets at work and they definitely helped.

  • My nurse told me to try b6 every night before bed. I have only done it 3 nights now. But WOW major improvement on the nausea. I felt pretty normal yesterday (although I was starving all day!). It really made a difference! I have chewed on ginger and sour patch kids. Buth helps.

  • I bought some ginger chews and they seem to be helping a lot. I found them in the health food section of the grocery store.

  • I do jolly ranchers and their lolly pops. They have a pink lemonade lolly pop that really helps me.

I tried eating some sour gummies, I'm not sure that they really helped. I do like mints though. I've also looked for preggie pops locally and haven't been able to find them.

  • At whole foods, there these tiny candies made by a company called "yummy earth".  They are natural, organic, etc.  They are a life saver for me right now and come in about 15 flavors.  My favorite is blood orange.

  • I got some good tips from my Mom. Admittedly I thought she was nuts but tries them out tonight. Peppermint tea is one. Another is sniffing a slice of lemon. The lemon really worked for me good luck!
