My little one has been nursing pretty much every hour for a good portion of the day. My breasts are completely soft at the moment and she's getting immensely frustrated trying to get milk. I know my body will resupply, but about how long does that take? Will she just trigger another letdown, or do I now get to wait it out?

You are never really empty just between letdowns. More sucking will trigger another letdown. Sounds like you may be experiencing a growth spurt. Make sure you are also eating plenty - lots of protein, throw in some oatmeal with flax - and drink plenty of water.
I had this same question last night. Dd was doing some serious feeding and I wasn't sure how long it would take. Or, if it was a good time to try to do some switch nursing. Hope you made it through!
