Emotional roller coaster and unexpected u/s (long)

 Hi everyone,

Thought I would give an update on my emotional roller coaster today. I left a message for my nurse this morning because I have been having some cramping and it is fairly sharp and only on the right side. I convinced myself for a day that I was being crazy and then I decided to call. My nurse called me at work and after asking some questions asked how quickly I could get there. Cue panic! I had been hoping for just a little reassurance!

But the good news was there was a baby in the right place! Super tiny since its so early but I did get to see the heartbeat. Amazing! So now it finally feels real. I have taken an embarrassing amount of HPTs and the betas felt like a step in the right direction but now I know there is a baby in there and in the right place!! So emotional since like many of you I really was starting to wonder if I would ever get here. Still a long way to go but such a great step!!

Oh right, and the pain is in my right ovary actually- some cysts and and fluid. He said it was a little OHSS which I thought I was way out of the woods for at this point. He said the cysts were normal. Anyone else have either of these? TIA and sorry so long!!

    I'm glad everything is okay!

I had some OHSS and still have a couple of cysts hanging on. I was really hoping mine would have been gone by 3 months, but alas they are still there. Most of the time they do go away, but can be much slower with pregnancy. The ones on my right side started shrinking just recently but my left is still holding on at about 5cm.

Most of the time it doesnt interfere with anything. The only time I've had problems is once baby was bigger and would give me a swift kick, or sleeping on my left side and my weight plus baby's weight squishing the cysts haha. Not fun but tolerable. I hope yours go away!

Yeah I had a giant cysts on my right side and a bunch of little ones on both sides.  They just dissolved on their own.  I just had to lay around and not do too much to make sure they didn't rupture.  Congrats on seeing your little one!!!!
