Abram / Abel

So, my husband and I have been thinking of one of these names for boy #2 (only 8 weeks to go!).  I think mostly we like the short name for them (Abe).  We are set on the middle name Fuller (family name) and lets just say our middle name rhymes with Hoshtowski (3 syllables).

I'd pick Abram but prefer Abraham. Abel just makes me think of able.

My 30 year old brother is named Abram. He loves his name and him and my parents have received compliments on it his whole life. He goes by Abe most of the time.

I love Abram with the nn Abe so that gets my vote over Abel.

I think Abel Fuller LN has a better flow than Abram Fuller LN.  Since you're likely to call him Abe anyway if you choose one of these, I'd go with Abel.  GL

Both are NMS, but I guess that I prefer Abram. Because I like the nn Bram.

I really like both! For me it's hard to choose. I think Abram goes better with the middle name.

I love them both. Two of my fav boy names. I think Abram squeaks ahead by just a hair for me. But truly, Abel is awesome, too.

I like Abram better but I like them both. That probably doesn't help, but I think the -m ending on Abram sounds better with your last name.
