aw-ray-lee-o OR aw-ree-lee-o OR oh-ray-lee-o OR oh-ree-lee-o OR something else?

2) What are your thoughts about this name? What does it bring to mind? Upon hearing the name, would you immediately assume a specific cultural background? What kind of personality would you expect someone with this name to have (if you see names in this way)? Etc?

I would probably try pronouncing all 3 ways until I figured out how it rolled off the tongue.

 In all honesty when I first saw the name I thought areola.

With it ending in "elio" I first thought Italian background, but I'm not a person who knows a lot of the different names and their backgrounds.

Depends on where I am. Instinctively, I would pronounce it Ah-oo-reh-leeo. 

ETA- I would assume Roman roots.

I had a crush on a guy named Aurelio, so I like it.  I didn't really know him, but he was hot!  I would expect someone with this name to have a hispanic background

Similarly I adore Aurelia.  I pronounce this as Oh-Rail-yo and love it for a boy.

It reminds me of a character in a Gabriel Garcia Marquez book.  I think 100 Year of Solitude?  Anyone?
