How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? 5w6d - still not really tracking fruit yet. An app I have on my phone says the baby is the size of a sweet pea, so that's what I'm going with.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? June 11 is my first u/s. To say I'm anxious and borderline terrified is an understatement.

QOTW: Do you/will you use your own Doppler? Why or why not? I'm seriously considering it, but I'm not sure what good it will do. I know why we lost Devon [placental abruption due to trauma], and I'm not sure if a Doppler would put my mind at ease or just freak me out more. I'm considering it though.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I'm in such a weird headspace. Some days, I can't believe I'm pregnant and am thrilled. But most days, I'm just expecting this pregnancy to end at my first u/s. I don't like feeling that way, but I guess I just can't let myself get too attached right now. It sucks.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? I have appointments every 2 weeks (Tuesday is my next one) I'll have an u/s and they're going to teach DH how to give me progesterone shots to prevent preterm labor.

QOTW: Do you/will you use your own Doppler? Why or why not? I didn't get one. I had planned on buying one, but I think it would drive me crazy.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I'm in the second trimester now, and I'm so scared. I just wish I could fast forward to November and have a little baby in my arms.

Next appointment is in 2 weeks.  I'll also start weekly injections to prevent PTL at that time.

No.  Honestly, I'm pretty "ok" with the pregnancy aspect of things, it's after the baby is born that I will be a basket case.

Starting to think of names and trying to figure out ways to get DH to be ok with talking/thinking about the future.

33 weeks tomorrow! Can't believe we're this close. Baby is the size of a durian fruit? Wth is a durian fruit?

I feel like all I ever do any more is work and go to appointments. I have a bio physical and an nst tomorrow, an ob appointment and an nst in Tuesday, and an nst and bio physical next Saturday.

I don't use a home Doppler because I feel like I would probably become obsessed with it. Also because I would panic if I didn't find baby in less than a minute or so and would probably be at the hospital getting checked all the time.

In my mind this week is the awesome new movement that I see this little one make! I never got to see baby Gary moving but this little girl is a regular gymnast! Much more rolling and stretching than kicking now, and sometimes the lack of defined kicks freaks me out, but I keep telling myself that she's just running out of room.

I am currently 5 weeks 4 days a long. I think it's an apple seed?

My first ultra sound is June11th too!! I am so nervous that there will not be a heart beat! I'm trying to be positive.

 I don't think I will get a Doppler. It may just add to my anxiety.

My doctor moved offices. She is like 40 minutes away now instead of 10. I'm going to have a new doctor. I just worry that she will not be accommodating or understanding.

I am thankful for every week I'm pregnant right now.

We're practically date twins [and we're u/s twins now, too]! I'll be sending thoughts and prayers your way as we get closer to June 11. I'm also thankful for every week that I'm pregnant.

We had our NT scan today-baby looks great! Next appointment will be a checkup with my OB at 14w.

Before our BFP, DH and I considered getting one. Now I'm pretty sure I don't want one. I think it would just make me more nervous.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I'm so happy the NT scan went well, and proud of myself for making it from our 10w appointment (when we heard the heartbeat) until today without freaking out too much. Next step is unpacking my maternity clothes. I know I won't be able to wear some things (they just remind me too much of my special time with Julian), but I definitely need to start wearing looser tops to work. I'm hoping to wait several more weeks before telling my boss, and it's getting harder to suck in the bump/bloat all day.

I am 8w4d since it is already Saturday here. I think it is a raspberry but I don't remember.

My u/s is June 11th too!! I am meeting with a new dr because the OB who delivered DS is no longer doing deliveries. I hope the new practice is sympathetic to my fears.

No Doppler for me. I bought one when I was pregnant with DS and promptly returned it the first time I couldn't find the heartbeat immediately.

I have no history of early loss but I am petrified that I am going to miscarry after it took so long to get pregnant. Every twinge I feel scares me.

Had 2nd OB and MFM this past week, all is looking great and this little person is an acrobat. Next appts are in a month.

Yes we will. I love hearing the heartbeat.

Happy we made it to 12 weeks and now I am getting anxious to make it to 20. We lost our boys at 19.5, so I think 20 is my next milestone.
