Usually it means you have dry skin. Lanolin for your nipples/areolas and coconut oil for your breast skin/tissue. I have a sleeping nursing bra that I wear after I put the coconut oil on etc.

Cream those honkers up with some lotion, you more than likely are experiencing dry skin. My personal favorite is CeraVe.

I have had the same issue but its only my right nipple that is itchy. This has been happening since just before this pregnancy. All the lotion in the world doesn't seem to relieve it. I stopped breastfeeding my son 7 months ago but I don't think its related to that. I plan to bring it up to my doc at my next appt. Anyone else have this?
