My dad was a restaurant manager for over 30 years. He was always hyper-sensitive about keeping everything clean everywhere in the restaurant (and I would know; I worked for him for three summers). He passed that obsession on to me; I am deathly afraid of food-borne illness and became even more so after LO was born.
So, once a week, when LO goes down for his afternoon nap, I beeline to my kitchen, clean whatever needs to be cleaned, break out my disinfecting wipes, and wipe down everything. It takes a while, but it seriously makes my day. So much so that I had to post about it. It feels great!
