Hello, ladies. I'd like to introduce myself and hopefully join some of the conversations happening on this board. I've been lurking for a couple of days, and this seems like such a supportive group. I'm not sure how much I'll be posting, but I felt like I should introduce myself even if I may be mostly lurking.
I may write more details later, but in short, two weeks ago today I went into preterm labor at 23 weeks with our second son. We were unable to stop labor, and Isaiah Samuel was stillborn at 10:44pm on May 16th due to oxygen deprivation caused by a complete placental abruption during delivery.
It still sometimes catches me by surprise that this is my life, that this has actually happened to my family. I reread that paragraph, and I have to remind myself that that's MY story.
I never anticipated being here. But who does? I hope you'll have me.
Re: Introduction
***SIGGY WARNING***
I am so, so sorry for the loss of your sweet Isaiah. I also lost my son to a complete placental abruption, so if you ever need to vent or have questions, please feel free to PM me. I hate that you're here, but I'm hopeful we can provide any support that you may need. **hugs**
I'm so sorry to have to welcome you to the board, and for your loss of your son. This is a great group of women. Hope you can find comfort and support here...
(((((hugs))))))
