17 weeks, movement behind belly button?

Hello! I'm 17w3d today and this is my first. Last week and earlier this week, I could've sworn I felt movement lower in my abdomen. Very fast bubbling. Today, as I sit here typing, I feel lots of flops and pops but its a bit higher this time...slightly behind and lower than my belly button. I'm carrying high, IMO, comparing myself to another pregnant lady who is about 6 weeks ahead of me...could these flops and pops I feel today be the baby or is this location too high?

Thanks for the insight! It would be great if its the baby because I was totally smiling and would feel silly smiling about gas! Hahaha!

Btw, I currently don't feel like passing gas which makes me think it is the baby...

It most likely is. There's no way to know for sure so I'd just go with the idea that its your bubs flopping around.

Im 16 weeks and baby kicked my belly button last night. Completely possible you are feeling baby!

Thanks for the insight ladies! I wasn't sure and didn't want to get overly excited if it was just gas but it happened a couple more times and now I'm pretty sure it was the baby So exciting!

I'm 16 wks 4 days and started feeling lo 2 days ago. It feels different than gas, almost like a little tap or a soft knock. You probably are feeling the baby especially if you can differentiate from gas bubbles. It's pretty exciting and makes it all feel a little more real!
