I hate when people IRL over share their birth stories. I really don't want to hear the nitty gritty details of your c sec, thanks. Nor do I want to know about your third degree tear.
I knew that J would want to overshare, so we had a discussion beforehand about the do's and don'ts. My do list was pretty much 'We had a baby!' and the don'ts was... Everything else.
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.

im completely with you on this. What is it about men asking questions about the birth? My FIL was ridiculous- is there a birth tub? What about an epidural? Etc, etc. every inappropriate question you think of, he asked it. So awkward

Yes. Especially when you're pregnant with your first and they offer their horror story unsolicited.
Along those lines, why do women insist on sharing the scariest parts of their experience with pregnant women!!! During my pregnancy, I didn't hear one positive birthing story IRL. Everyone just wanted to share how awful it was and what went wrong. And then when I'd share my plan to go med-free, they'd just give me a look and say "we'll see..."

I always wait for people to ask. I don't mind telling people the truth if they want to know. But I always say it wasn't that bad, and would never second guess doing it all again obviously.
I have a love/hate relationship with the Internet. Sure it has a lot of useful information, but sometimes I feel overwhelmed with choices and question whether the information I just found is accurate and up to date. Not to mention understanding the information provided.
I really hate the combination of chocolate and fruit. Blechh. I love chocolate and love fruit, but together they're disgusting.

I am an animal lover and have always had pets....but having children has definitely knocked our geriatric cat and the dog way down in the pecking order...
I hate chocolate and orange! It's soo gross. But chocolate and other fruits isn't that weird to me.
My OU is I can't stand extroverts that are super loud and obnoxious. I seriously want to ask them wth is wrong with them! There's no need to be so loud and enthusiastic.

Flip flops are a terrible choice for shoes...save them for the beach.
Yuck!

But being a working mom has made me a way better mom. I love the love between my kids and their sitter too.
