Kawaii original PN vs PN2

Besides the tabs, is there a big difference?

I ask because ds is outwetting his Kissa fitteds/covers overnight, but he's too little to get a good fit on my OS stash yet. I'd ordered a sampling of Kawaii and Alvas a couple of weeks ago, which included one PN2 which I liked. So I ordered a few more PNs to get us through the gap. The problem is, the only ones I could find were the original ones, not the square tab PN2s.

Please tell me they'll be okay and they didn't completely revamp them or anything.

I think they just redid the tabs and made the crotch a little wider.

The ones on the website look exactly the same as the ones I have, which I ordered almost a year ago.  I don't think there was a redesign.

I had one of the 'old' style PNs (with the rounded tabs and not-as-good but still okay aplix) and it worked fine. It was a little harder to stuff than the newer version, but I still really liked it.

The only potential issue is that you may find that the laundry tabs wear out and you have to either replace them or fasten the diaper inside out when you wash.

Not sure about the difference between the 2 versions... However, an FYI I just ordered the newer version from My Sweet Pickles. I also had a hard time finding the square tab PNs on other sites. They shipped quickly, too!
