Hi, I'm new to this group and didn't really anticipate joining this particular group. My two month old twin boys were born just short of "full term" for twins at 35 weeks. Fortunately aside from jaundice and a 24 hr stay in the nicu at three weeks for reflux after leaving the hospital with me, my boys are thank gd healthy. But in the back of my mind I'm constantly wondering what I'm heading towards dealing with delays of milestones and things like that. I guess it's just good to know there are other people going through this too.
Re: New here
Generally, your pedi will ask survey questions I think at 4 months old and ask about what they are able to do. Ask for their opinion if they think there is anything to worry about. The only thing to really work on now, which is true for almost all babies, is tummy time to help with core development.
You can lookup the general sequence of events, but don't focus too much on the timeline. For example, first they turn over both ways, then they sit unsupported, etc.
