DD was in her mesh bath sling until two weeks ago. I was SO terrified of her slipping and hitting her head or drowning that I just didn't want to risk it. I figured I needed to suck it up and let her have a real bath so started putting 2 inches of water in the tub and let her enjoy herself. I'm RIGHT there, after all.
During her bath, she slipped sideways and went face first into the water! I was right there and grabbed her, but I know she had to have breathed in some water because she started coughing and sputtering. It was SO scary. DH, in his stupidity, comes running in, asks what happened, then says "Why does she still have food on her thigh" when I explained what happened. REALLY? Her face was under the water and you're worried about the fact that she's not clean, yet?! Sorry, I pulled her out of the tub instead of making her sit there, coughing and sputtering, terrified while I finished her bath. Douche.

Re: Really scary bath
Glad your DD is okay.
Ugh, this is why I'm hesitant to move G out of the whale tub. But, he's climbing out of that thing, so it's inevitable that we're going to have to switch soon.
Thank God Avery is alright and that you were right there! You both had a little bit of a scare, but you were right there and you're both just fine and that's what matters!
And your H is a douchecanoe. Men...
SCANDAL!
I third!!!
That's crazy scary!
Agree with the throat punch. So glad she's ok. Baths are scary.
Aww.. I'm sorry you guys had such a scare but so glad your dd is ok.

DH later apologized. He rarely does that so I think he had to REALLY know he was in the wrong. Dummy.
This. X2 on the throat punch.
