DD cries and fights every nap and bedtime

For about the past month my dd has been fighting naps and bedtime.  Her brother joined our family about 3 weeks ago so I know that that is probably part of it, but it just isn't getting any better!  We've tried everything we can think of; cry it out, going in to comfort at different time intervals, night light, music, and nothing is changing.  She is in a toddler bed now so she gets out of her bed and stands crying at her door.  Any advice??

We have a new baby here, too (1 month today), but aren't having any issues with DD sleeping. Do you have a routine that you do with just her (baby not in the room)? I think that probably helps a lot for us. DH reads her a book and a Bible story, then I come in and we pray and sing, then I put her in bed. Probably not that helpful, but just something to think about. GL.

we have kind of had a similar issue recently. She didnt nap last Thursday and yesterday. and been going to bed at like 10pm but them sleeping in til 8:30-9am.

when/if she does nap it tends to be later in the day.

Mine has been going crazy at night also. We've tried everything. I'm starting to think hope it's a phase and we just have to wait it out.

The solution to our problem was me telling dd I will be right outside her door waiting all night, and then saying I'm right here 20 seconds after I close her door when she checks to make sure. So far its working, the days before that were awful. We've pretty much just given up on naps, not worth the fight. Once she's asleep at night she sleeps very well.
