I was on Gonal F (75 per day for 10 days.) I had 2 mature follies and 2 that were ify on cd11, then did 2 more days of Gonal F + trigger shot and had my IUI 35 hours after the trigger. I started getting some good 'O' pains about 5 hours after the IUI. They kept up all night and I am still in pain today.
How long did you have 'O' pains, if you did? Was it more before, during or after 'O'?
I am just hoping we didn't miss-time the IUI. Working with thawed sperm I only had 13 million and they only live for about 12 hours, though some say up to 24.
Thoughts?

Re: Ovulation pain?
If it was 5 hours post iui you may be OK. The swimmers should be up there waiting still if they live 12 hours. You could try a second iui if its an option but I don't know if its worth it at this point.
I also don't know the whole story with DH but could you BD just invade he has a couple good miracle sperm?

I never really notice ovulation except for the times I have triggered. I seem to O 36 hours after my trigger shot. I notice bloating and cramping for a few hours and then it dissipates.
Could the cramping initially have been from the IUI itself-5 hours later? And then the cramping now actual O pain?
I hope everything went perfectly and you're starting at two beautiful lines...oh about 8 days from now?

BDing won't help us, we use donor sperm.
I usually don't cramp too much after IUI's...this is my 10th one, over all, and none of them have been painful. They did a prog. test on IUI day and it came back at 2.3 which the RE said shows that ovulation was starting, so they felt good about the timing. I got the exact same number on IUI day the cycle we got Jericho, which made me feel a little better.
I talked to my RE's nurse this morning and told her I was still having a lot of discomfort and pain, she said since I did ovulate 2-4 eggs, and that could be why I was in such pain for the last almost 24 hours. Thankfully it is starting to subside a bit now.
This!
