how would i know if my baby is having an allergic reaction to a dog? we are visiting a friend this weekend and has a dog, so i am kind of worried. My daugher is 6 months old. What should i bring if it does happen?

I would call your pedi and ask what they recommend. I know benedryl can help with some allergic reactions, however it is not suggested for that age. Your pedi would have the best suggestions and dosing instructions if you do need something.

I wouldn't be worried. Both my kids are allergic to cats and we have one. They have other allergies to that require medications so it covers the cat issue for now.

You would probably see sneezing, watery eyes, swollen eyes, green eye discharge, and maybe hives.
