Hi all- just looking for a bit of advice/motivation. I would like to lose 50 pounds (which would be right at the highest end of healthy bmi) prior to ttc #3 a year from July. I really struggle with motivation and tend to binge when I slip up. I really want to make healthy changes and and weight watchers has worked well for me in the past. I just can't seem to stick to it this time though... my pcp recommended the south beach diet, as I struggle with tummy fat and had trouble concieving my first. I ended up being successful with clomid, but then developed gestational diabetes. During that pregnancy I was prescribed metformin and have been on it ever since (including pregnancy #2, where I did not develop gestational diabetes). My main goals are to get fit before ttc again, and to avoid heart disease and type two diabetes later in life. Any success stories, advice, motivation would be greatly appreciated. Btw... I'm 31 years old if that makes any difference.
In addition, I am trying to bike and walk for exercise...
