Introduction and growth spurt question

I wanted to introduce myself.  I've recently become a SAHM.  I was in the process of looking for a new job when we found out we were expecting, and decided to stop looking.

Our LO has hit his 3 week growth spurt (I'm guessing that's what it is anyways). We EFF and he typically takes 3 oz. every 3 1/2 to 4 hours and now wants about 2 oz. every 1 1/2 hours, has been extremely fussy, and was up this morning for over 4 hours, which is a first. Is this typical for a growth spurt? If so, how long does this last?

I EBF but it sounds like a growth spurt to me. I wouldn't worry so much about ounces and hours. When he seems hungry (he's fussy, rooting ect) feed him, burp him often, he'll stop once he is full. Oh and growth spurts can be a day to a week and there are a lot at the beginning. 3 weeks, 6 weeks, ect.

That sounds a lot like DD too. They hit a lot of growth spurts in the beginning. We seem to be going through a really long one right now. The 3 week passes fairly quickly I think. Just feed him until he is full and whenever he wants to eat. Babies are unpredictable.

In the beginning I think my LO's growth spurts lastly a long time. Now they are getting shorter but he is more fussy during them and sleeps a lot after them.
