*NRyan* And others who miss beer

I bought this over the holiday weekend and it is mighty tasty.

They have an amber and lager version. I bought a 6 pack of each
But it is NA, so I feel like that makes it OK that I got a few strange looks walking out of the liquor store.

DH asked me to bring him home a six pack from the store and I felt so weird walking down the beer isle and then checking out.  I told him I am not doing that anymore because people will start confronting me!

I have tried 5 different types of NA beer and have been severly disappointed in all of them   But, MH brews beer and we're giant beer snobs...

I've ended up just getting what I want and then having 1/3 to 1/2 of a bottle and giving the rest to MH.

I don't know what kinds you have tried, but I was pleasantly surprised by the selection at our local liquor super store. 
I will have a half a bottle or a glass of wine now and then too. This is just nice for summer BBQs when I want to keep pace with everyone

Unfortunately, my taste buds hate alcohol when I am pregnant so even a sip of H's beer tastes like vinegar.

On the bright side, my favorite beers come out in October!!

Anyone else notice that certain recipes change each fall?  I used to love love love Harvest Moon, but this past year it was disgusting!

My DH brews craft beer.  In fact, he had just made a batch of breakfast stout for me and I found out I was pregnant!  Bummer. We saved a growler for me for October, maybe it will keep!  I have been disappointed in all the N/A beers I have tried.  I will have to see if I can find this one.

I have only found one pumpkin beer I like, but most of the Oktoberfest varieties make my heart sing.  I love amber to dark beer!

I LOVE the fall for beer season!  I buy all kinds of Oktoberfests and Pumpkin beers from local breweries to find my favorites of the year.  I kept a running list on the notes in my phone, but since I got a new phone I lost my list

Oh well, I'll start over this year

Do you guys get the Venetucci Pumpkin ale?

I'll have to put that one on the list, I don't remember the name.  I moved to this area last November, so I missed the boat on most of fall beer tasting.

I second the Oct '13 beer GTG!  Everyone should come to CO!  lol

you are on! 11/1/13 everyone grab a case of beer and sit in front of your computer on the bump. DHs you are on baby duty! we got some mamas that need to make up for some lost time! after 9 months of not drinking though this will probably be a very sad contest...2 beer chump
