Sorry I wasn't able to read your post until now.  Anyway, I have never heard of an ob/gyn that was also a plastic surgeon.  There is no existing fellowship or anything that combines ob and plastics. Ob/gyn is one residency and I think for plastics you would do a surgery residency then a plastics fellowship or it might be all one residency. That's not to say that someone couldn't do multiple unrelated residencies, but it seems like a lot of time in training and I'm not sure how much reward there would be. 

However, some ob/gyns are setting up practices that are geared towards women's interests like with dermatology and even spa services, g spot shots and that sort of thing.  They might be trained and certified to give botox and other facial fillers. That might be what these women were referring to.  Or they might go to a women's practice that has a separate plastic surgeon within the practice.  That's all I can think of.
