Highrisk for round #2, now what?

 this might sound kind of selfish but im 30 weeks into my second pregnancy with another beautiful baby girl and my doctor says im high risk about of how bad my preclampisa was with my first daughter and was at 20 weeks talking about the possibility of inducing me at 37 weeks again like he did for my oldest, im ready and have a ton of reasons why id like to be,( a rude nurse id like not to have to deal with and a nephew thats going to be 1 very close to my due date, and my mom is moving to Montana and i wont see her again for 3 years).but should i ask my doctor if he still thinks it possible so am i just trying to move this to fast!!!

I'm not sure if you are saying you DO want to be induced early, or you DO NOT want to be induced early.  Are you seeing a MFM specialist? I would consider definitely getting a second opinion. I had pre-e with my first (delivered at 36wks) and possibly atypical pre-e with my second when I was delivered at 33wks. I'm considered high risk for this third pregnancy, but my MFM said as long as my ultrasounds continue to look good, my blood pressure stays within the normal range, and my labs are all normal, there's no reason why he would consider inducing.

There are many medical reasons why inductions are needed, and many times those that are done at 37 weeks or after have no negative side effects to the baby. However, in healthy pregnancies, the longer you can keep the baby inside your body until they are ready to come out, the better.
