Have any of your RE's talked about caffeine intake during IVF cycle? I generally only consume a single grande mocha every morning, otherwise just water. Just curious what others have been told.

I asked specifically about this because I have a grande vanilla latte almost every day. It's 150mg of caffeine. The nurse said as long as it's under 250 a day it's fine. So my one coffee can stay! YAY. Thank goodness.

Mine have never brought it up, but I've seen that caffeine is not recommended in first tri, so I cut down to one instant coffee a day post transfer and decaf after a positive pregnancy test ( and no sooner, haha).

I knew that caffeine (3 cups or more a day) and alcohol (love my glass of wine with dinner) were going to be the hardest for me...so I've spent the last 3 weeks weaning myself off of both. (Plus I need to lose weight to be under the BMI restrictions...and those nightly glasses of wine and a latte or two daily weren't helping!)
Now the only caffeine I have is a cup of green tea each morning (I can't do decaf...it's like my mouth knows it's fake and I hate the taste ...and not a glass to drink in over a week. The headaches have gone (finally!) and I'm done just over 6 lbs. Woohoo!
