Random midnight nymbler searching led me to Evander. I think I really like it! But sometimes I wake up in the morning after a late night name search and go 'what was I thinking??' lol

I did too, but I think he's the only person I've ever heard of with that name! I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing, but I still like the sound of it.

Same here. Only time I've heard it is the boxer. And I actually like the sound of it. I could totally get on board!

Love it! This is our runnerup name for DS2. We had actually decided on Evander for about a month but then it just didn't seem quite right so we are going with something else. Still love it tho!

I like it, although at first read it sounds a bit feminine. Of course, having a well known boxer with the name kind of balances that out. You could call him Evan for short.

The only one I've ever heard of is Evander Holyfield as well, but I like it. 

Like PP said, it's kind of like Xander, so I don't think it's too "out there."
