I have already washed all of babies clothes and blankets and put them away. Should I also wash things that are brand new out of the box, like the swing and bouncy seat covers??

I would wash everything that you can that would be touching baby's skin or be close to them.  The dyes and chemicals used on the fabrics can be harsh on baby's sensitive skin so it would be best for everything to be washed in gentle soap.

I would. They sat in a factory and were handled by so many hands. I would wash all that you could.

If it's meant to be washed, I would.  Make sure you follow the washing instructions closely.
