Ive been doing this embarrassingly easy work out routine and now my calves are KILLING me. So if it hurts to even walk, should I just do it today or will I really hate life tomorrow?
Yeah- Its sad how little I know about working out.
Don't skip exercising. Do an upper body or core until you recover so you don't strain any muscles. You'll be laid up for longer if you do. I recommend a Pilates floor routine for the next day or two. But if you skip working out altogether you will get tight. Also, I can't ever skip because if I do it turns into multiple days.
This! Don't skip a workout. Make sure your streching and doing a warm up and col down. Also what previous poster said about just doing something else that is easy or doesn't involve calf muscles as not.
