Sookie Stackhouse Books

I decided to start reading the Sookie Stackhouse books because of recommendations. Anyone else reading them or have you read them? Did you like them?

I have read all but the last one because I am waiting on it from the Library. I enjoy them but not enough to actually pay for them. As the series goes on, I like them less, but I just can't quit them. They are a quick read though so it's nice to read something light after a heavy read.

I have the first book, and I love True Blood, but it can't keep my interest. I was hoping to get back into it this summer.

Just finished the series! I agree with the PP who said they became somewhat less enjoyable as the series progressed, but I still found it worthwhile to finish. I was satisfied with the way it ended.

I read the first three but they were all kind of the same story and I got bored. I haven't watched any of the True Blood series so I have no comparison there.

Eh, they are ok. I definitely have never felt the need to rush out and buy the next one.

I have read them all and I have watched true blood. The books definitely get worse as they go on. However, they are enjoyable and I think they are a fast read. Good thing for summer reading.

I've read them all except the last one. I just couldn't bring myself to pay for it, they get progressively dumber with each book. 

I love the series though and I can't wait for it to start up again in a couple of weeks.

I did and loved them. There are some big differences between the books and the True Blood tv series that is based off the books.

The 4th one was the best, IMHO. You stopped one book too soon.
