I will be traveling 2xs while on progesterone. How can I keep these things refrigerated without easy access to a refrigerator? Is there anyway I can make it through TSA without additional search?
The first time I travel I will be driving about 2 hours to my dad/stepmom/half siblings' house. My dad and stepmom don't know about the IUI, although I will probably tell them in person. But I really don't want to deal with one of siblings seeing the medicine in the fridge.
The second time I travel will be for work via air. I will need to go through TSA in front of coworkers and will not have access to refrigeration for almost an entire day on the first day and last day of the trip.

This for sure works with TSA. My FIL always travels with his little cooler packed with ice and meds. And he travels a lot.
What progesterone suppositories are you going to be taking? I took Endometrin Pill form for 3 cycles in the 2ww which did not have to be refrigerated. Now I just got Crinone Suppositories in the mail the gel ones and they did not come cold. On the box it says store at room temperature- I think 66- 77 degrees but I have to look at the box again. If you have either of those two you don't need them on ice. Maybe request the non-refrigerated ones for this cycle?
If you are taking some other one and it has to be refrigerated I would bring an insulated cooler bag with ice packs. I had to bring my trigger shot with me cold to my REs office bc I didn't know if we would do it that day. We didn't need to so I kept it in a cooler bag the whole day at work. It was still very cold at the end of work. Best of luck to you!

A compounded progesterone vaginal suppository. It came in ice packs and has "keep refrigerated" on the container and all the bags in which it was enclosed. I started this morning, so I don't think I have time to switch.
I'll try the ice packs.

Interesting. Hopefully you will get your BFP this cycle. If not, maybe ask your RE about Endometrin or Crinone and see if those are okay for you. Then you won't have to worry about refrigerating. The ice packs definitely kept my stuff cold at work for 9 hours and it would have lasted longer but I went home. The ice packs I use came with my meds and they are called Koolit refrigerants and work great! My injects arrived about 18 hours later with those Koolits and everything was still cold and they were still half frozen. Good luck.
