I have two napping kids! It's a miracle!

Cole has been such a cranky mess today. I really don't know what is wrong with him. He has been fussy with feeding. Doesn't want to be held. Doesn't want to be put down. He is just miserable, and I feel so bad that I can't seem to help him. So happy that he is finally napping (although he sounds restless.)

I did get 10 minutes of pure joy out of him. When I was completely out of ideas, I decided to pull the doorway jumper out of storage. Why didn't I do this a month ago? He loved it! He enjoys his jumperoo for short periods of time, but he was all smiles and laughing out loud and jumping like crazy in the doorway jumper. It was nice to have him happy for a while.

We have no good snacks in the house. I was dying for something sweet. What did I come up with? Leftover frosting from the smash cake I made my niece. So here I am with both kids asleep, playing on the computer, and eating frosting with a baby spoon.

Oh yeah ... I also sent SO out of the house to see Fast and Furious. Now I can guilt him into doing more than his share of the housework/childcare when he gets home. (evil laugh ... mwahahahaha)

Having a nice little Sunday here.  I meal planned and clipped coupons and MH and DS made a grocery store run.  DD fell asleep during that time so it was like I had the house to myself for a half hour!  Then we spent some time outside, I hung some diaper laundry, and MH is smoking ribs for dinner.  Nom!  We just got back from a run to the garden center.  We picked up some plants for the garden.  Here's hoping for a green thumb this year.  We haven't had too much success with growing things in the past, but at least we have some knowledge under our belts.  It has to pay off eventually, right?!

I spent the morning working in DD2's room, because she's like 5 months old and her crib still isn't put together.

Now DD1 and I are chillin poolside while DD2 and DH nap.

We're firing up the grill soon.

We went to church, came back home, Ava took a nice long nap in her crib. I got dinner cooked, all her bottles made, dishes washed, and had time to read my everyday with rachael ray mag... Now we're just hanging out.

On mobile so my pics don't work, but I wanted to say how much I enjoyed your pic of Cole. I love when pics turn out like that!

spent the morning cleaning and doing laundry and going to spend the afternoon walking with my VERY pregnant sister so we can hopefully meet my nephew soon! probably going to walk to the park and swing LO which is his new favorite thing

My big fun day with DS was yesterday and I already posted about it (with pics!) further down on the board.

Today I worked. Just got home 40 minutes ago and got DS down for a 2 minute nap, lol! My MIL said he hasn't slept much today and he's in his PnP right now just staring at the ceiling and kicking so I'm leaving him in there to see what happens. He's put himself to sleep from being wide awake about half a dozen times in the past 3 weeks so maybe...

I'm gonna have some nachos for a late lunch since I had an early food break at work. Making spaghetti and meatballs for dinner tonight! Yum!

I have tomorrow off, but DH works so I don't know what I'll do. Maybe take DS to the park... wish I could figure out a way to safely walk my two big dogs and DS at the same time. I thought about baby wearing and walking them all, but I just don't trust it yet... too much going on at once for me.

 

 ...now DS is talking to his feet. Awwww.
