I saw you replied to my other thread... Can I ask which antibodies you have? I have D and big C and that is why I am having trouble and will be induced early. The baby I am pregnant with is rh positive and slowly becoming anemic. Would you give me more info on your situation please? It's hard to find anyone with a similar situation because it is so rare.

Of course. I agree it is difficult to find others with a similar situation on here. There is one mama on the High Risk board who went through this and has some information to share. I can't recall her username, but if you ask about antibodies, she will likely chime in. I have little c and little e. My boys were being monitored, as were my titres, and no alarms popped up. When they were born, they were very anemic though. It was kind of a shock to everyone, as we thought maybe they were not being affected. Not sure how it got past everyone, but it did. They each had one transfusion and blood work every 2 days until their hematocrit levels stabilized at about 2.5m. Has anyone spoken to you about subsequent pregnancies? I saw a hematologist, and he gave me information on the recent studies dealing with antibodies and pregnancy. The antibodies grow stronger and smarter with each interaction with a foreign substance (baby). If you get pregnant again, your baby will need to be monitored very closely as your antibodies pose an even greater threat the next time.
That being said, 34 weeks your LO should do just fine in the NICU, even if a transfusion is needed. My boys were there for 20 and 27 days, and really just took an exceptionally long time to learn how to eat. GL, sweetie. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm more frequently on the Multiples board, and you can page me there.
I think you are right. Keep us updated, so we know if you need any extra good vibes!
