Post miscarriage orgasm

In swear someone needs to write a good book about miscarriages to answer all of these questions I keep having.anyways, here goes...I'm curious how long after a miscarriage I should wait to have an orgasm.I have heard to wait two weeks for sex as a result of possible risk of infection from penetration,however I am curious if an orgasm as a result of external stimulation is OK? My hormones are going crazy,but I certainly don't want to cause issues with the healing process.

I was told no penetration, but I'm sure external stimulation is fine.  My doctor didn't say anything to the contrary.

I am still waiting to actually miscarry after seeing an empty sac on Thursday. But after that happens, it seems like doctora are saying to maybe wait a cycle or so before TTC. Or at least wait until your first post mc af. Is everyone using condoms? Just not having sex? I have no idea how I will feel about it after the actual miscarriage, but right now I'd like to be having sex with my H, so I'd just like to be prepared.

My post op appointment after my Dnc was 4 weeks after my Dnc so we did not have sex until after that appointment. I believe a lot of people said wait 2 weeks. My Dr never said so I wanted to be sure. Plus we both were not in the mood after everything. I did not want anything down in that area so I was fine with waiting. Think everyone is different and depend on what your Dr recommends.

I don't see why external stimulation wouldn't be ok. I think they're more concerned with anything inside you that could interrupt you healing.
And as for sex. My d and c was on Weds. When I was discharged the paperwork had my doctors instructions which said no sex for 2 weeks. My follow up appt is also in 2 weeks. For me, I am looking forward to sex again with H. We will be using condoms. Our doctor said to wait 2 cycles before trying to conceive again. I honestly think everyone is going to feel different about when they are ready for sex and/or to try and get pregnant again. Your doctor should be able to tell you what they recommend for you, your body and mc process. Best wishes.

We didn't have sex again for 2 weeks b/c my post op appointment was in 2 weeks. At that appointment, though, my doctor said that your cervix closes at 1 week so sex (and baths) are okay.

Yes we are using a condom to prevent from getting pg before we get all our tests back and before my first cycle. You do ovulate before your next period so you actually can get pg again before your first AF.
