Washing cotton and MF

First of all, I'm pretty new here and you all have been great with answering ALL my questions. So, I have another one for you. I ordered from GMD and received one of their pamphlets on all things CD. It says they don't recommend washing natural fiber diapers with synthetics. They say the synthetics will make your cotton smell and in the cleaning process the synthetics will "abuse" the naturals. Do you wash them all together anyway? I mostly use cheap pockets (Alvas) but at night we do a GMD fitted and hemp doubler with a cover. Should I wash them all seperately? I'm scared!!

I wash everything together. You just have to prep separately.

This.  While I agree with GMD that natural fibers are preferable to synthetics, I think they can be a bit excessive about it sometimes.  I've never had an issue with my prefolds, fitteds or natural fibers "taking a beating" from my synthetics.

I have lots of different fabric types (cotton, bamboo, hemp, MF, minky, suede cloth, fleece) and it all goes in together. The only wear on my diapers is from aplix not staying on laundry tabs.
