Elliana Claire/Clare

Curious as to which spelling of Claire/Clare is preferred (we decided to use 2 "L's" for Elliana)...

I'm thinking of no 'i' b/c our first DD is Natalia Reese...so her FN is 7 letters, and her MN is 5 letters...each name would match the no. of letters:) 

Unless, that's silly, and the name looks better with the 'i', LOL.

I've seen both ways for Claire/Clare. Clare is a county in Ireland, Claire seems more like a "name" to me. I wouldn't be wedded to the # of letters, but I don't normally think about such things

I sometimes do prefer it spelled Clare, but I prefer Elliana Claire.

Another vote for Claire.   I know a man with the first name of Clare, so that has always seemed to be the masculine spelling to me.
