I have a friend that has one. She advertised and asked around. She ended up hiring a woman that had been working for another famy for years, but the kids were grown. It's worked out really well for them!

I have been a full-time summer nanny for many years (obviously not happening this summer!). I had ads on care.com and sittercity.com and also contacted families who posted their profiles on there. I also put one up on craigslist, but never really got anything from there. While I don't have any experience with it, a former family found an au pair through Cultural Care Au Pair and were very happy with her. GL!

We almost went the nanny route, and had chosen our nanny from care.com. But she started acting a little flaky and I got nervous so we decided on DC. I don't think that's indicative of the website though, just that girl.
