We were supposed to have tortellini with brown butter sauce but I switched last minute. We are now having "spring roll salad" with tons of fresh veggies, herbs, and sprouts with a peanut dressing.

Spaghetti & meatballs, garlic bread and salad for dinner.
I am sitting here and praying that DD 2 takes a decent nap today so that we can break the cycle of awful sleeping. Also trying to decide what pointless errand to run tonight so that I can get out of the house by myself so that I don't lose my mind.
The nanny was off today, so no way am I cooking. nbsp;I've been caring for a child all day. nbsp;DH will pick some take out sushi for me on his way home.
Huh...I requested sushi last night. DH brought it home. Maybe I'm the fun AE'
But, would he bring it home 2 nights in a row? I mean my DH would, but I don't usually want to eat the same meal 2 nights in a row.

Interesting things, let's see...a giant dog tried to attack our Westie during her walk this evening (she is fine)...dd1 decided she loves tofu (she normally just eats the broth from miso soup) but figured out the dog doesn't like seaweed.
Last day of preschool today. I'm relieved to be honest. She shines in her drama class, but at "school" she just is struggling so badly. Meltdowns, arguing with classmates, refusing to do projects because it's too hard. I'm stressed.
Dinner? Probably grilling out, but the kids might already be in bed. So it's probably chicken nuggets and tater tots, fruit. Woot.
Am I remembering correctly that she has the late summer birthday and you're holding off on kindergarten next year?
We had our end-of-year picnic today, too. Well, the second one. DS#1 had his yesterday.
Then we went to swim practice and got home to discover the dog had vomited all over the laundry room floor. I feel bad for him because whatever is wrong with him, he obviously feels terrible, but man...not fun to clean up.

You're like the worst AE ever. I want fun ones!!
The worst, come on? That's a bit of an exaggeration. Don't ya think? I mean, I've been on TB for a while. There has been better, but there's definitely been worse!!

We had a end of the year playdate at the park today. This park has a splash pad and most of the kids played in it even though it was only 68 and it was windy. DS would not play in the water because he didn't want to be cold...smartest kid there IMO.
I was going to cook teriyaki(sp?) chicken, rice, and veggies. It sounded good this morning but then I got lazy, it didn't sound appealing anymore, and H didn't want it. We went to Cracker Barrel instead.

Oh my do I miss Cracker Barrel!!! Yum
I dashed out the front door to have Cuban food and mojito's while enjoying a live band with friends from our PTA (also neighbors) while DH did the whole dinner/bath/bed time routines. It was glorious.
Re: So what's up?
What movie did you see?
when are you finding out the sex of the baby?
dinner is a free for all because DD can't behave at school so no Epic for us which means no popcorn for dinner.

Where is Here? Sounds like a nice place. I love boiled shrimp BTW. Yum!
