What are your colour schemes for your home?
What do you love about your home?
If you could build your dream home, where would you build it and what would it be like?
If you could redo one room in your home, what room would you do and how would you change it?
Re: GTKY
What are your colour schemes for your home? Each room is a different historic color. I am an antique freak, so I love to find historic colors to match. Most of the colors are cool tones though, and grey is my neutral.
What do you love about your home? The bathroom. Its the only room thats "mine". I moved into the bachelor pad he had been living in for 7 years when we got married. So, there is not a lot I like about it. The bathroom we have been remodeling since we got married (we have one bathroom, so its taken a few years..) but I love it now!
If you could build your dream home, where would you build it and what would it be like? I would build it in the middle of 100 acres. It would be colonial farmhouse.
If you could redo one room in your home, what room would you do and how would you change it? I wouldnt pick a room, it would be all the floors. I would go hardwood throughout the house. Its a small house, so it would be cheaper than changing a room.

What are your colour schemes for your home? I live in an apartment, so I can't paint. But when we move, I want to do a mix of browns/beiges and blues.
What do you love about your home? I love the open floor plan of my apartment. The living room and kitchen are one big area, which makes it easy to keep an eye on DS while I'm making dinner or cleaning up. Also makes for a great entertaining space.
If you could build your dream home, where would you build it and what would it be like? I would build a giant log cabin in the middle of Colorado. I love log cabins.
If you could redo one room in your home, what room would you do and how would you change it? I wish I could just paint the whole space. I've been living there for almost five years, and we won't be there much longer, so no point in even considering it [especially since we can't paint]. I can't wait to move into an actual house.
What are your colour schemes for your home?
natural earthy tones, they seem to relax me
What do you love about your home?
We have five acres and I love sitting on the porch just listening to silence in perfect privacy
If you could build your dream home, where would you build it and what would it be like?
I would build a colonial two story home on a couple hundred acres with my barn close to the house for my horses
If you could redo one room in your home, what room would you do and how would you change it?
My kitchen, I would re-stain all the cupboards, make more counter space since I love to cook.
What do you love about your home? how open and light it is
If you could build your dream home, where would you build it and what would it be like? I'd still live in maine...but up in the mountains on a lake! I like old victorians, and mountain lodge styles. Which ever it would be would need a big porch with a swing!
If you could redo one room in your home, what room would you do and how would you change it? hmm. Livingroom I suppose...better layout, less clutter, new tv cabinet and make everything match
