Your girls names all sound very sweet. I imagine a cute little American Girl type. Sweet and quiet. Your boys all sound very sporty/athletic--but when they grow up they have the potential to be cute guys with cocky personalities.

Girls:
Amelia: an old lady.
Julia: it's ok.
Lila/Lyla: another old lady
Annalise: a stripper.

Boys:
Owen: I like this one.
Reid: a big deuce bag. I know two with the name Reid, both Db's
Grant: maybe a small deuce bag tendency.
Gavin: ummm nothing really comes to mind.

Annelise is our girl name. I actually loved lyla and Amelia too but my husband shot them down. I think Annelise is beautiful

Amelia: too old, the only person I know with this name is a 65-ish Filipino lady
Julia: ballerina, tall and graceful
Lila/Lyla: eh, sounds kinda redneck (I'm from AL, and I can totally picture this lol)
Annalise: LOVE! sweet and smart

Boys:
Owen: it's ok, but a little too uppity for my taste
Reid: love, totally see this as a boy who becomes a man on wall street
Grant: love this one, too...going with doctor
Gavin: one of my faves, but DH says no because of Rescue Me (the last name of a long line of screwed up men and women in one family)

Thanks for all the feedback so far.  Honesty is great!  I'm a little surprised to see a lot of people think of Lila/Lyla as a stripper/redneck.  LOL  I know 2 and they are both doctors.
