Mobile: Could this week get any worse?

Just found out that if I'm not willing to return full-time in July, I'm going to be let go. I've been working as a part-time contractor since I returned from maternity leave (most hours at home, one day a week in the office) for a non-profit I've been with for nearly 5 years. 

My boss is of course pretty upset about this, but state budgets are state budgets. I feel like she already knows my answer is "no," but gave me the weekend to think about it :/

    I'm so sorry! There's a lot of pressure, from so many sources, for us to work. Sometimes it's financially necessary. But, you will never have this time with your little miracle back. Big hugs!!

    Oh, that really sucks! Just remember to make the best decision for your family. I know you will, though. So sorry you're being forced to make this decision!

    This all the way!! I'm so sorry they are putting you in this position, but I'm sure you will make the right decision and all will work out.  I'm sort of in a similar position.. My director declined my part time request, which means I'm quitting after returning from maternity leave.. It's the best decision for m family, but certainly not an easy one to make... I've held on to the thought that things will all work out in the end!!!
