Could you maybe supplement with breast feeding? Or you can sign up at similic.com and they will mail you $ off a formula purchase. That's all I can think of.
Do you have a Costco membership? The Kirkland band formula is made by Similac. Similac at Costco is 94.99 to 97.99 for a 3pack of 34oz formula and the Kirkland brand is 54.99 for a 3pack of 36oz. Hope this helps.

You can try human milk 4 human babies. People donate their breast milk.
I haven't used the generic yet but people seem pleased with it.
My suggestions would be definetly sign up on Similac and enfamil websites. Also have your relatives sign up too. You can take the Enfamil cks for Similac cks on the Swap Spot board and others. Also if you have a CVS extra care card watch your e-amil they send coupons. I've gotten some formula for 30% off.
We switched from Similac to Kirkland/Costco formula for my twins and it was much cheaper.

Definitely nothing wrong with WIC if you qualify and genuinely need it. That's what its there for.
Otherwise, the best way to do it is shop sales and coupon OR shop generic. We used the Target Up & Up version of Similac and its almost half the price. You get a tremendous tub of powder that makes 300 ounces for around $19. Similac is $22 a tub and it only makes like 170 ounces. There is absolutely nothing wrong with generic formula - by law it needs to be the same formulation.

This. I used BRU brand formula with DS and is healthy and happy! It's about 1/2 the cost of name brand.
This, for sure.

this. You could also consider switching to a generic brand of formula, it's really just as good.
