First night I've slept TERRIBLE. I was on the couch so my DH could have the bed. I didn't fall asleep until 2 woke up from 3.30 to about 4 and finally came in here at 5 when he had to get up for work. I've slept on and off until about 9 now which is a lot better.
But our house is getting closer to brig ready so then we'll have a memory foam king we can both fit in! Lol
Just another day around here...so glad we're still cooking these babies! Hope you all have a great day.
Nantucket, I know it's possible for you to go a lot longer so hang in there and don't feel defeated. Hugs!
Married to my dream husband
Mom to 2 year old BG twins (Incompetant cervix, cerclage, and LOTS of bed rest)
All babies were stable this morning at our U/S...and we got some cute 3D pics of everyone's face!
We'll be meeting with the Neonatologist/Peds. people today...Monday we hit 23 weeks, so they'll be talking with us about the rate of viability and risks that come with premature births. I know it's going to be a lot to take it, and we definitely don't want them coming this early, but it's good to know we've almost hit the stage where they have a chance!
Any one have exciting plans for the long weekend?
I'll be celebrating my birthday tomorrow - in the hospital! DH keeps asking me what I want to eat - he'll either cook whatever I want or go get take out from anywhere since he can't actually take me out. Not how I imagined spending my 25 birthday, but if it gets us closer to those babies, that's what matters!

I am 14wks had my cerclage put in on wednesday. 1 day post cerclage I was getting weird pressure on my lower abs and urge to pee frequently. Today it has got so much better. Yipe. was going to go to the er but going to wait things out, since symptoms have improved. If by tomorrow they dont improve more ill make a quick stop at urgent care to rule out possible uti but i am very doubtful.
I also received a invite to spend this weekend in the Poconos PA in my friends vacation home. Sadly had to decline, wouldnt be very healthy for DH and I to take a 2hr ride to have me laying flat all weekend while everyone parties it up. Oh the glory of bedrest and its only begun...
My contractions have continued (and I can't take the meds bc my blood pressure is too low) but my Dr was pleased that cvx stayed stable yesterday eve at 2cm dilated. (She didn't recheck this am to avoid poking around.) Ihe is actually saying is possible I could go a week or two or even more if contractions don't get worse. Yesterday they were hoping to put off labor by a few days so this is very welcome news. I know things can change in an instant but at least there is something to hope for. My only worry is that I had 3 days like this with my son just before going into labor. So there is always that risk. If I make it to Tues I will feel more secure.
I'll obviously be here for the duration. I never thought I'd hope to spend weeks in the hospital.
MrsCaseyK thanks and hope you get some sleep! Tip: put a waterproof cover on that brand new mattress. My water broke in bed with my son and destroyed our mattress It was soaked!!
Dixon happy birthday and continued good news re babies!

Trying to stay low key and positive over here... Today marks 7 weeks of mbr, which has been difficult with 14 month old ds... Though, Im sure not nearly as daunting and challenging as for those of you ladies on full br and hbr with other lo!
Tomorrow little miss Jenny will reach 22 weeks and I've finally allowed myself to start thinking about buying things for her. It's been hard for me to think about clothes, bassinets, etc. because I really didn't want them around if the house if things were to go poorly. I am trying really hard to focus on the positive results of Monday's mfm appt and I'm going to buy some clothes for her this weekend! My mom is in town to help with ds this weekend which has been such a blessing! Can't imagine going through this without everyone who has been stepping in lately! Going to enjoy having family around this weekend and having a chance to relax with dh, as he has a three day weekend! Yay!!!
Hope all of you gals have a great weekend!

Hi ladies. Our Internet connection was down most of the day, so I'm just getting back online now. I will keep it short and just share that today was pretty uneventful (good news). Have a great evening! I will see you all virtually tomorrow
Expecting twins! Put on strict bedrest at home after preterm labor at 22 weeks. Hospitalized at 22 weeks and again at 29 weeks. No more please!
Today started out ok but went a bit downhill. Yesterday OB told me I could go downstairs to see my kitty. So DH and I worked up a plan so that kitty and I could lie down in our car. We were all set to go this evening.
My OB removed my pessary today for cleaning and then reinserted it. All the commotion down there resulted in some irritability that may have turned into tiny contractions. So OB decided to put me back on mag sulfate which meant no trip downstairs to see kitty.
I would've like to see her but I think the most difficult part of all of this (high risk PGAL) is the uncertainty of it all. The fact that things can be ok one minute but then quickly change is so hard to handle. There are things I can do to not make the risk worse but it feels like there is nothing I can do to make things better. I am not a control freak but the complete lack of control of what is going on with my body is so stressful.
