doing the nasty

How long did you wait to make whoopee after your baby?
Did you have a c section or vaginal and was it good/bad/painful the first time?

Re: doing the nasty

  • We waited about 8 weeks. It was good but painful, if that makes sense. I had a vaginal with episiotomy.

  • We tried at 6 weeks, it wasn't painful but uncomfortable. By 10 weeks it was pretty damn good. I had a C-section.

  • We waited 4 weeks.  I had a c-section.  It was still a little uncomfortable the first time but I think it was just nerves and cause it had been so long.  It's great now at 8 weeks pp!

  • We waited until 10 wks. Umm..... no go!
  • 2nd degree tear. Attempted at 8 or 9 weeks and it was excruciating and had to stop. Did it at 12 weeks and it hurt but not excruciating. I bled after and had cramps all day

  • Had a vaginal with episiotomy

6 wks and it was great!

  • I was around 6-7 weeks PP.  I had a vaginal delivery, 2nd degree tearing.  It was uncomfortable, but we went slow and that helped a lot.  It doesn't get comfortable again for a good while...I am 14 weeks PP and it still isn't the best, but it gets better every time.

  • We waited about 12 weeks because I bled that long. I had a csection so it wasn't any different than before.

6 weeks c section after 20 hours of laboring uncomfortable
Now at 10 weeks its less uncomfortable but not 100
I've also started bleeding after this last time.. Period maybe?
  • We first tried at 8weeks PP after a vaginal delivery. I say "tried" because LO started crying and we couldn't finish. We've since been able to "do the deed" twice since then. All three times it was fairly painful for the first few minutes, but after that it felt like always.
