APG - May 24, 2013

Hello and Happy Friday!  I hope that you are excited for the three-day weekend ahead and able to find a few moments to exhale.  Big Smile

Welcome to The Bump's Adoption Prayer Group! We are a group who believes that prayer is the backbone to any person, season, or situation in life. If you would like to join the email prayer group and be connected with a prayer buddy, or if you have any requests that you do not feel comfortable stating below, please email me at [email protected]

We welcome ANYONE to this group and firmly believe that we should "not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication and with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." -Philippians 4:6-7

We'll give people the opportunity to share:

1. Encouraging Scripture
2. Prayer requests
3. Write out a prayer for the other ladies on The Bump
4. GTKY Question of the Week:  How have you seen God at work this week?

It is my hope that this group will be an encouragement and inspiration to each of you as we sojourn on this adoption road together! Be blessed today!

I'm a dance studio owner, writer, cat mommy, and adventuress who is married to the man of her dreams. My husband and I have had a long-time dream to adopt and it's happening in a way that we didn't quite anticipate. But, like any move of God, it's turning out way better than we expected. We'd love for you to follow our story at www.kirstenkline.com!

  • 1. Encouraging Scripture
The man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence indeed is the Lord, is blessed.  He will be like a tree planted by water: it sends its roots out toward a stream, it doesn?t fear when heat comes, and its foliage remains green. It will not worry in a year of drought or cease producing fruit.  -Jeremiah 17:7-8 (HCSB)

This has been another of my theme verses throughout this past year.  It reminds me to constantly place my trust, my hope, my EVERYTHING in our great God.  I'm so thankful for how He has made me secure throughout the adventures of life.  Especially this past year!  :)

    2. Prayer requests
We mailed in our USCIS stuff this week, so I would greatly appreciate your prayers that everything gets where it needs to go! :)

    3. Write out a prayer for the other ladies on The Bump
Lord Jesus, You are our Living Water and You renew, restore, and breathe life into us each day that we surrender to You.  Thank You for being a faithful God.  Thank You for providing for us.  You are all we need, Father.  Lord, I pray that You would be with the ladies on this board today.  I've seen a myriad of emotions and experiences all over this board this week, and I pray that You would remind each woman that You are there in the midst of it.  I ask that You would do this in such a way that draws each of us to You.  Thank You, God.  I love You.

    4. GTKY Question of the Week:  How have you seen God at work this week?
I'm still receiving emails and notes from people who were at our recitals last week.  I love to hear different people share how God touched them through our music and dancing--it means the Holy Spirit is at work! :)
