Couldn't Wait

So I gave into the temptation to test I am 12dpiui and 13 days past ovidrel. I convinced myself and stick by the fact that i would accept it for what it is and know things could change but prob wont.

The result BFN! Any hope? I am going to test again Sat and Sun. Just to make sure.

    I would love to hear what you all think? Even if it isn't positive. Anyone else test this close to beta with BFN and then go for the beta and get BFP? Or anyone had the will power not to test before the Beta? If you have done both which did you prefer, wait or not?

    Hey! I think it really varies from person to person. We have gone through 3 IUIs and have tested early and late and every time when we got a BFN, I wanted it to be a BFP SO BAD I would look for any sign that it was wrong. Unfortunately I think patience is the only way to go...I know that's hard but short of a blood test or AF there is no certainty...hang in there!

    1st Ultrasound 4/22/2014 Baby Squints is PERFECT! Measuring at 6w2d with a heartbeat of 129. EDD: 12/12/14.

    Ultrasound at 18 weeks on 7/14/2014. Baby is healthy and growing just as she should!

    Hi! The first time I got a BFP was at 10dpo. The second pregnancy I didn't do HPTs at all because it was too depressing, and I'm really glad I waited for my beta! It takes what it takes... sorry about the BFN!

    Thank you firstcomeslove and mollykelly, it's nice to hear that giving in to taking the HPT or not, only time and patience will bring us what we r all brought here to do. keeping the faith that my time will come when it is meant to be. Wish it was easier for all of us. My DW and I always joked when before TTC that we were preg when our periods were late. Ha ha. 

    This time is just frustrating bc of being on progesterone that stopped my period. Well on the positive side, I will possibly be joining in the family fun at a wedding that we were all invited to. So they probably won't be depending on me to be the DD.

    BFN #2 HPT. I used one of the tests wrong so it went to waist. I am just now have a 3dw till beta 5/28. Prepared for the bad news. I have very little hope it will say different from HPT. I just hope the right side will bring us a more mature egg and better results!

    I am sorry to hear about your BFN... I always gave in and tested early too.  There is hope for a late implantation, but I found on my BFP that I was getting weak positives starting around 12dpIUI.  It's not over until beta or AF shows up.  It's good to see that you are staying positive for next round too.  This stuff is hard and sucks sometimes.
