I bought a bikini to wear this summer. The last time I wore one was on my honeymoon 7 years ago. Lets be honest, I wasn't bikini ready then, but I was in Mexico. The ONLY reason why I'm buying one this year is because of the pregnancy.

Dear work,

Thanks for the stress that gave me such high blood pressure yesterday that LO got angry, I got terrible cramping and pain, and my OB made me take the rest of the work day off.  I should be working right now, but instead I'm looking up random gifs and periodically answering e-mails while waiting for the day to be officially over.  I mean, my doctor DID tell me to relax.

Holy crap. I'd be a little upset also. This time of year fills up quick and that's barely any notice.  

Any advice? I'm so grateful she's doing it.. But I feel bad for the guests..

My floors are disgusting. Like, awful. I have 2 dogs, a toddler that likes to drop things and an extremely messy dh. I should be sweeping and mopping, but I just don't give a f.

I'm an Aug 2013 mama, not a random lurker. This is my BMB. I post on parenting mostly. I posted about our UO thread there because I found the thread amusing.

The xp wasn't a big deal, it was the not even pregnant wacko who replied to every single comment for 3 pages that was annoying. 

On the plus side, I've now discover parenting and stay at home moms which is more crazies than I've seen here in months

I am thinking about getting a little revenge on DH. Normally he is always hit the bed and fall asleep instantly. I am the one with insomnia and spend hours tossing and turning trying to sleep. Well last night I was so exhausted I probably could have fell asleep as soon as I hit the bed. But NO DH decides he can't sleep and has to lay in bed playing on his frickin phone half the night. Every time I almost fall asleep the stupid thing goes off. So about 1:20 I kindly ask him to please put the phone away and try to get some sleep. He does, but not 15 minutes later he is back on again. So I give him about 10 minutes of the phone going off every two minutes and instead of smashing the phone against the wall like I was so tempted to do, I again asked him nicely to put the phone away. He blows up, jumps out of bed and storms out of the room. Just as I am finally falling asleep he decides to come crawling back in, but he didn't touch the phone again. Well it's 11am here, and he is still sleeping, so I'm thinking about taking my crazy @zz kitten, who is driving me up the wall pouncing on my stomach, and throwing her in bed with DH, and turning on the TV extra loud. He needs to wake the fluck up lol.

I have some HORRIBLE ghetto neighbors that moved into the house directly across the street from us a few months ago- they keep us up all the time! My husband mowed the lawn at 8 am two days ago and this gif sums up our feeling about it!

My house is a horrible wreck and I don't care.

 Also, I was waddling around my wing of the school today with an accordion strapped to my chest, no less, when a huge echoey fart snuck out.  Luckily no one was in the hallway, but I'm pretty sure that folks with their office doors open heard me loud and clear.

Me too. When I was at Prada and people would come in with Coach, there was one specific bag that I thought looked exactly like Coach. I also showed it to people who I thought had no style. I sold a ton of them.

vacuum first time in a week? you deserve a medal! I haven't vacuumed in a month! Don't plan to until 10 min before the next visitor comes to my house!

I just looked at the aug 12 and parenting boards to see the posts about us, I felt famous just to be in this group FYI, and when trying to get back to this board I accidentally clicked April 13. I am not proud to say it took me a few minutes and reading a couple of posts to realize I was on the wrong board... it was a really confusing few minutes for me.
