FF Babies - how much, how often, how big?

At 8 weeks we've just transitioned to EFF from EBF due to growth concerns due to VSD (the hole in his heart speeds up metabolism). I'm curious as to what your little ones are taking in at their size, age, etc. DS is 8 weeks and just hit 9lbs8oz after a slooooooow time gaining from his birth weight of 8lbs even and 7lbs9oz at three days. He currently takes between 3-4oz 7-8 times a day. TIA!

Almost 12 weeks and he takes 6oz every 3ish hours during the day. He sleeps through the night so no feedings then. I weighed him today and he is 12.6.

12 weeks tomorrow and taking 4oz every 3 hours. He's been doing this since about 6 weeks.

My 11 week old (14 lbs) eats anywhere from 4-6 oz every 3-4 hours!

My DD has a VSD as well and we had to go from EBF to supplementing and me pumping ... What a crazy ride it has been. Se also had weight gain issues and has been improving so much. 

For her, she eats about 25-30 oz a day and is doing 4 to 5 oz every 3 hrs. For formula, we upped the calories to 24 (5 oz water to 3 scoops formula) so if she is burning up calories from eating and breathing at the same time, she makes up for it with the increased calories. 

 I hope everything goes well with your DS and the VSD. Just know that we are going through the same thing over here and my thoughts are with you guys.

My 5 week old is 11.5lbs and eats 4 to 5oz every 2 to 3 hours. I was concerned that I was over feeding him. My dr says as long as he's not spitting up the formula he's okay. He says, if he's hungry then feed him. My other son was also a big boy but I can't recall how much he ate at this age.

7 weeks 10lbs4oz 3 to 4 oz every two to four hours pending naps.sometimes an extra oz if she doesn't go right to sleep then gets fussy

My 11 week old, 14 pounds son is eating 5-6oz every 3 hours. He take six bottles a day and is sttn.

DD will be 1 month tomorrow and eats 3oz every 2.5-3 hours and will sometimes stretch it to 3.5 hours at night. At her 2 week appointment she was 8 lb 12 oz, so I imagine she is close to 9 lb now.

DS is almost 12 weeks old and close to 14 pounds and takes 4-5 oz every 3 hours.

Ohlordy - Wow, it sounds like we're in a very similar situation. Thank you! DS is also getting the 24 cal formula mix and since we started it a week ago he gained a full pound. I'm so happy to finally have him gaining, it's lessened the sting that I couldn't provide enough for him breastfeeding. How is your little one? Will you need surgery? We see cardiology every few weeks with pedi weight checks mixed in and it sounds like while we're guaranteed to need surgery that we may be able to wait until he's a year old. We have another ECG in September to see how things are going.

At almost 10w4d, my LO is 13lbs 5 oz. She takes anywhere from a 4-5 oz bottle every 3-4 hours (sometimes 2.5 during the evening) during the day, and STTN.

However in a 24 hour period she only takes 20-24 oz, which is less than recommended (usually 2 oz per lb) but she is gaining weight like a champ (she's remained in her "curve" since birth, around 80-85 percentile for weight) usually has a BM once a day and has a wet diaper every 2 hours in the day so I just go by when she's hungry. she has silent reflux which makes it hard for her to take a bottle sometimes.

At 8 weeks she was 10lbs 4 oz, and taking about 3-4 oz every 3-3.5 hours with a MOTN feeding.  So, sounds about right with your LO.

8 weeks old, 13lbs 10oz, she eats 4oz every 3 to 4 hours. We were going to increase to 5oz, but now we're adding rice cereal to the formula due to acid reflux, so we've kept it at 4oz.

11 week old, roughly 12lbs eats 4oz every 3 hours or so.. Sometimes doesn't take the full 4oz
