What do you think of Cedric? First associations that come to mind? Would you side eye it?

I love the name. I think of Cedric Diggory from the Harry Potter books and this really awesome British guy my sister briefly dated when I was in high school. He was a triathlon athlete and just a generally really nice guy. It's a good name, strong, Celtic origin...I like it a lot.

It sounds old fashioned to me, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Right now it's a character on one of DD's cartoons, and the main character never pronounces it right.

The first association that comes to my mind is that parakeet in the movie Come September, one of my all time favorites. I definitely wouldn't side-eye it.

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, so the first thing I thought of was Cedric Diggory. However, I that doesn't stop me from loving the name. I think it's cute.
