Guys, my dog dog is sick

I'm in Ohio. Dh is home alone and Frazier is vomiting constantly. He puked once this morning and is terribly sick. Dh is scared and he isn't a worrier. He said he is really really bad.
He's dropping Paul off at a friend's house and taking him to the emergency vet.
I'm panicked and sick that I'm far away.
He's my best buddy. He needs to be okay. I promised him he'd get snow this winter.

And I looooove the name Frazier for a dog.
Poor boy is still feeling rotten.
I'm sorry, I'm sure he his fine. Dogs get upset tummies just like us. Some meds and he will be A OK.
BTW: Umm...is your dog names after Fraiser Crane? If so I love you and if not.....

800 dollars worth of tests, fluids, and so on he's on his way home. The vet says it's a really nasty case of gastroenteritis. He's miserable but will be okay.
We didn't name him. He was a guide dog in training and they're named so all dogs in the litter start with the same letter. He responded to it, so we stuck to it.
I'm glad he's ok. 800 bucks is a tough pill to swallow, but we do what we gotta for our fur babies, huh? :]

The trip is going better than I expected. Other than feeling horrible for dh and the dog, we're good. Everyone has been nice except for the rental car lady!

He'd like to clarify he is not fine. According to DH the dog is feeling extremely sorry for himself. Very. Poor pup.
He'll be fine but he's convinced that was intentional torture.
