Bras and Fitting

Mobile:  Bras and Fitting

So my older sister texted me this link she found on her mom forum the other day:

It's all about bras and how to measure and how they are supposed to fit. My sister, who had been wearing Cs, measured herself and went to Nordstroms to try on some Gs and Hs.  She says they are the most comfy bras ever.  She had been wearing Cs.

I was so fascinated I decided to measure myself and use the bra calculator to which she links.  I understand I'm a little bigger right now nursing than I would be otherwise, but curiosity was killing me. (Question for STM+, when your milk comes in for the second+ kid, are you about the same size as for the first?)

I am currently wearing a 40 DD.  I measured myself and I come out to a 38 I or a 40 H!!! It seems ridiculous but after you read the info it makes a lot of sense. I was pretty blown away but I thought I'd share with all of you lovely ladies. I wish I had known this forever ago.  My bra always rides up in back.

Anyways, I just wanted to share this because it's crazy awesome!  If you measure yourself, what do you wear and what does it say you should wear?

I was wearing a 34B years ago and went to Nordy's to get a new bra. The lady actually giggled at me when I said what I was wearing. Turned out I was a 32D. Hmmm....

Now I'm all abou getting a fitting. I think most people are completely clueless about sizes. A D is just not that big most of the time.
