We will do whatever my DH wants to do it's his day. I will celebrate with my Dad the day before (Saturday). No gifts. Just thoughtful cards and maybe some candy. My Dad has a sweettooth. DH is getting some Birkenstocks.

We don't have set plans yet. 

We'll do lunch or BBQ with my parents. We will probably go see FIL too. If Alyssa's 'big sister' shirt comes in time, we will probably announce to my parents that weekend.

LO and I got Him a new motorcycle helmet.

I really should make/buy something for my dad and FIL.

What are your plans? Church, lunch, then I'll send hubs to the golf course for the afternoon. (assuming that's still what he wants to do. It's been a few weeks since we talked about it)

Who will you visit/see(your dad, FIL, grandfathers)? We'll definitely see my Papaw, since we go to church together and we have lunch at my grandparent's house on Sundays.

I'm not sure what hubs' plans are with his dad for Father's Day. If it's anything like Mother's Day, they'll be out of town all day with BIL and SIL (we won't be invited) and hubs will have to catch them at home later in the evening to drop off FIL's gift. (for Mother's Day, they didn't get back until after Aria was in bed, so hubs' dropped off her gift by himself.) I'll just follow hubs' lead on this one, like I usually do where his family is concerned.

I haven't spoken to or seen my father since 2008, and it wasn't cordial then. I don't forsee anything changing on that front between now and then, and honestly I don't want it to. He's a horrible human being, really.

What is LO making/buying Dad? I'll have Aria make some sort of finger-paint card, and we'll give hubs a gift certificate to the golf course. I know this is something he always likes to get, so unless he mentions something else that he wants, that's what he's getting.

Are you getting H, S/O anything? If so, what? His gift certificate will be from both Aria and me. When she gets older and can pick out something on her own, I'll get him a separate gift.

Is LO making anything for his/her grandfathers? Care to share ideas? I'll probably just have Aria do finger paint cards for hubs' dad and my Papaw, and some small gift: similar to what we did for mother's day. (we have to do similar things for the inlaws for mother's day and father's day, or they get crabby about things not being "equal". Don't get me started...)

The only things I know for sure is for H I will be recreating the DAD picture I did for him last year. I will make this a Father's Day tradition. It by far has been my favorite gift I have ever given H. And we are hosting a BBQ in honor of H and FIL. I am hoping to have breakfast with my Dad or invite him to the BBQ.

I have no idea.  Maybe we will take FIL to dinner.  My dad passed away in 1994.

I may have Sky do some sort of project for DH.  Since the other ladies are mentioning redoing the DAD picture I may re do the picture and take the old pics out of the frame and put it in a scrap book or something.  If not we will do a finger paint card.

I got DH a GPS for his boat.

I doubt it, but maybe I will print a wallet sized recent picture of her for him to carry around.

As this is my Dad's last father's day, we will be with him.

I really don't care much what DH's kids would prefer to do, we will be spending the day at my parents' house.

I am up in the air on a gift for DH.  I was thinking of getting him a capsule style espresso machine to curb his starbucks trips, but he asked for an electic smoker.

What is LO making/buying Dad?

We are doing a gift basket of stuff inside a new cooler we will use at the beach that weekend.  I am going to include a new Tervis tumbler, a new koozie, a new Costa t-shirt he saw but didn't think they had in his size, a new wallet and a personalized card with pics of the boys we recently took.  Oh and a new thing that goes under the seat of his truck and smells nice (he likes the leather smell).

No, I might have them do some fun handprints inside his card but nothing special since we are doing the beach trip as a family.

We live in a different state from my parents and DHs parents so we won't see them on Father's Day.  I am going to make DH a "DAD" picture frame and put a cute picture of him and Nolan in it.  I figure DH can do whatever he wants that day!

Plans...DH gets to sleep in

Visit/See...nobody

LO getting/making....I take pics with the letters 'd, a, d' each year and make the collage that says "I love you d.a.d" for him.  I will have the kids make an art project for him as well.  Just not sure what yet.

Me getting H something....nothing, just stuff from the kids (that we make)

Grandfathers....nope, nothing here.  DH and I sometimes send cards to our dads from us, sometimes not
